Hi,

I installed the xfce 4.2rc1. In my old xfce (4.0.6), each time I enter in it,
some programs run on it (epiphany, xcalculator, ...). But in the new xfce
(4.2rc1) these programs not appear when I login into xfce 4.2rc1. So in the
conversion from old settings to new settings, you don't pass the session
preferences.

I think that you could pass this preferences. If the user had this session
preferences in the old xfce he/she wants to have the same preferences in the new
xfce (in general)

[I use the gui-installer in installation]

Thanks,
Xan.

PS: Perhaps this bug it's really a feature request, but I think that strictly
it's a bug.

nope. the old session manager (note that this session manager was never
actually released, aside from a foolish move by debian to package a CVS
snapshot) and new session manager have very different way of storing session
data. this isn't going to happen.

note: please use the proper component when filing bugs. it helps the report get
to the person it needs to, rather than the generic list that everyone has to
sift through.
