JF, any idea about this? This works fine now, doesn't it?
no idea, jasper, submitter can you please try again with the latest Xfce version and report here ?
This bug is beginning to get a bit old, if you can't reproduce it with latest Xfce i'll be forced to close it.
Using XFCE 4.2.3.2, "upper workspace" and "bottom workspace" don't seem to do anything, they are for "vertical scrolling/switching of workspaces? I've never known something like that exists in XFCE, and i can switch workspaces or drag apps to neighbouring workspaces only horizontally. left/right workspace shortcuts work, and i don't loose those settings upon restart..
OK, Olivier pointed me to the pager which "controls workspace arrangement" - i always have the panel and taskbar disabled, so i didn't check that.. After rearranging the workspaces, upper and bottom workspace work here, too, so i guess it's fine... sorry for the hassle :)
