my laptop has a spanish(qwerty) keybord and sometimes i connect a german(qwertz) standard usb keybord, after connecting this keybord xkb lose all his settings(see attachments)

I'm having a similar issue when replugging my qwerty usb keyboard.

Usually I have it plugged in, but sometimes I need to replug it. Sometimes xkb does indeed lose all it's settings, although not every time, it seems to happen at random (see screenshot). 

Today apart from xkb losing all it's settings the tray plugin also had "preferences" grayed out so I had to remove and add it back to tray to be able to configure it again.

My plugin version is xfce4-xkb-plugin 0.5.4.1-1
