I recently bought an Acer Aspire One which was set up with Thunar and xfwm4. Although I replaced Linpus with Mint I reinstalled xfwm4 because it's such a good window manager. xfwm4-settings' dialog is too big vertically for the 1024x600 display. It would be a good idea if the dialog (and any others in xfce) could be redesigned to suit Netbooks even though Linpus tries to hide things like xfwm4-settings.

Modified glade layout file

Here's a modified glade file for the dialog. It makes the 'Advanced' tab's vbox be in a viewport in a scrolled window, which allows the window to size itself small enough for the 1024x600 display. Hope this is of some use.
