My .Xkbmap contains -option ctrl:swapcaps,grp_led:scroll since I like to switch Caps lock with control. It does not work with xcfe4-rc1 (it worked before the upgrade) and sill works with other managers like evolution, gnome, etc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install xfce4-rc1 using the graphical installer. 2. add -option ctrl:swapcaps,grp_led:scroll to your $HOME/.Xkbmap 3. Log out and login xfce4 Actual Results: The Caps lock and the Control are not swaped Expected Results: Allow the setting from setxkbmap. Instead it seems that xfce4-rc1 resets the settings. It does not look an X configuration problem. I am on MDK10.1 and this worked with previous xfce and still works with other window managers.
Please tell us which Xfce version you used before and where did you get it from (RPMs, tarballs, ...)?
