One bug/request per report, please. You can already set the icon type from the console. See 'xfconf-query -c xfce4-desktop -l' output for details. (Note that bugzilla is not a support forum; if you need help with this, use the forum or xfce mailing list.)

I previously checked xfconf-query and overlooked the style settings. As for the other ideas, do you want me to issue each request seperate? I issued them as one request because they correspond. (Note, I am not asking for support just want to help improve a good product. And to my experience this is the best place to do so.)
Yes, separate requests please. Just because I maintain xfdesktop doesn't mean I deal with enhancement requests for other stuff.
