Created attachment 2446 Buggy popup Good evening I have been using Xfce Power Manager for a while, I love the 0.8.x version of this software, but I have a strange display of the brightness popup indicator since version 0.8.1 With 0.8.0 the is a black square (I don't use composite) with the sun at the center. With 0.8.1 & 2 the sun is not centered anymore and I have an artifact on the right. Is it a bug or is it my fault? I did not follow your instructions, with "./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc" Xfpm doesn't lauch, I just used "./configure" and it's okay, except for the popup indicator. I'm using xubuntu 8.10 with xfce 4.6 from jeromeg's ppa.
No idea what is causing this problem on your machine, i have also Xubuntu and it works fine. Please try to search your /usr/share/icons/hicolor and /usr/local/share/icons/hicolor for xfpm-brightness-lcd.svg, then delete it, and re-install the power manager again. I believe this is a setup problem, not related to the power manager, but let's see.
If you still have this problem please try out the latest release.

Marking this as fixed.
