The files are correctly moved though. It also happens when copying. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select many files (2000-3000 should do). 2. Copy or "Cut" them 3. Navigate to another directory and paste them. Actual Results: The files are transferred correctly. Thunar freezes for all eternity. Expected Results: The files are transfered and Thunar displays them. This is not related to the filesystem. I had it happen on ext3, , tmpfs, NTFS. I do not remember it working ever but only in the past ~6 months starting using so many files more often.
Sorry, I forgot: I was using Debian Testing earlier with the same bug. Now I am on Archlinux. CPU is a Pentium-M 1.6GHz. I had to choose Platform: All for Bugzilla to let me submit. I am using only a PC though.
Please reopen if this is still an issue with the latest Thunar release.
