Setting off the "Add only dockapps which start with wm* in the name" doesn't help: xfce4-wmdock-0.3.2 doesn't find the started dockapps of AfterStep.

Also it fails to run xeyes as the dockapp (I don't know how in WindowMaker, but in AfterStep it works).

Hi,

added to my TODO list.
I will try to fix it in the next upcoming release I hope in the next 3 months.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Also I've expiriensed troubles with running several WM dock applets. Tested on wmfortune.
Both in the same and in the separate xfce4-wmdock applet.

But here I'm not shure about detecting a bug, may be, it was my mistake.

I've migrate on amd64 system with xfce-extra/xfce4-wmdock-plugin-0.3.4 (XFce 4.10.0).

The issue still presents.

WM dockapp plugins works, AfterStep not (although support seems to be declared).

Hi,

at the moment I'm working on a new version of the plugin. I'll
try to fix the afterstep bug in the next release. Could you give
me some examples of afterstep dockapps which are not working.

Cheers
Andre

x11-plugins/asclock-2.0.12-r1 (Gentoo GNU/Linux)
with xfce-extra/xfce4-wmdock-plugin-0.3.4

Also x11-apps/xeyes-1.1.1 could be used as wmdock plugin and I'll be very pleased, if it also will be compatible with new version of xfce-extra/xfce4-wmdock-plugin (xfce-extra/xfce4-eyes-plugin is not exactly what I want).

One more application usable as dock-app:

* x11-misc/xxkb
     Available versions:  1.11-r1 ~1.11-r2 {svg}
     Homepage: http://sourceforge.net/projects/xxkb/
Description: eXtended XKB - assign different keymaps to different windows

It will be good, if it will be compatible with new version of plugin.

I've changed some Afterstep dockApp in the current branch (0.6.x).
The dockapp asclock works with the switch `-d'. The other dockapp which I
have tested is asmon. It work without any special command switch.

I hope that I finalize the next upcoming release 0.6 in the next few months.

Hi Ikonta,

OK, I would close the bug report. I have tested some AfterStep dockapps.
All tested dockapps work. Especial asclock works with the command
`asclock -dock'. All AfterSteps dockapps works with the next release of
the plugin (0.6.0). If not, please reopen the bug report with some screenshots
or logs.

I have tried xxkb with no success. In all version xxkb crash
with a segvault (with and without wmdock running).
Could you please try to determine the name of the window of xxkb (e.g. with xwininfo) and add the name to the dockapp filters in the wmdock plugin.

Thank you for reporting
Andre
