Created attachment 2350 Bug menu Hi xfce's dev i have a a boring bug in my xfce. This bug are present since my migration on xfce 4.4. I am waiting debug of this problem. Apparently, noboby have this bug. I have created a bugzilla's account for this bug :/ i have a personal font: MarlonBookDB (i attached this font for your test) I have testing MarlonBookDB on Windows XP, Gnome (Debian) Gnome (Ubuntu) KDE (Archlinux)works fine. XFCE4.6.1 (other pc) (Archlinux) and my XFCE (archlinux). Only XFCE have this bug Perhaps this bug disappears with a few hours , or never (random). They are present on Emesene, firefox, other perhaps (i have talking with emesene dev, but he doesn't from emesene) i have a sure example on emesene, because a every reboot, this bug are present i launch emesene, i looking a option menu (normallly i have) "Changer l'avatar…" but i have "Changer l'avatarÊ" and a contact list when a nickname are so long, emesene cut with nomally … (but i have Ê) Always … are remplaced on Ê ' are remplaced on Ȫ or Ÿ perhaps other my Archlinux have fr_FR.utf8 keymap fr-oss xfce: 4.6.1 i686 Intel 4 prescott 3ghz Nvidia Geforce 6600GT (normally emesene works like that) [url]http://www.monsterup.com/image.php?url=upload/1242240624788.png[/url] Another bug xfce (xfce4-panel) [url]http://www.monsterup.com/upload/1242290710364.png[/url]

Are you sure that this only happens in Xfce on that specific machine?

Sorry, but there's little possibility of this being a bug in Xfce. It more likely has something to do with your system's locale setup, or possibly a problem with the font itself, or possibly with fontconfig. It's really hard to say, but the fact that it shows up in any gtk application likely means it's not a problem with Xfce.
And Why, Debian, Archlinux, Xubuntu have a same problem with this font. Gnome used GTK works fine, KDE too. (Ubuntu, Debian, Archlinux) ONLY XFCE show this font's bug!
