Hello,

I do not know if there was a report on this, I am not sure if this is a bug,

But I do not know how to drag several files from one location to another,
because if selecting the file by mouse only 1 file is being dragged.

Could you tell me how to grad and drop several files?

I am not sure if this is just on desktop or in any place where this feature of rubberbanding is available.

But I did not see in xfce 4.6.1 that this changed.

Sincerely,

Dima

It would be nice to not only be able to select several files but to also be able to drag them together rather than just the file you click on to drag all the selected files.

I am saying it because I checked both xfce4.60 and hoped that xfce4.6.1 would change that, xfce4.6.0 in xubuntu had this problem and the masked packages for xfce4.6.1 in gentoo had this problem.

So I do not know if this problem is eliminated or not.

If it is, please tell me what release, because I really like and enjoy working with xfce, it is the best desktop for my needs as an intermediate developer.

Apologies for hijacking this bug; I did a search regarding this issue, and this PR came up, so I figured it'd be better to use this rather than create a new one.

Anyway, from the XFCE 4.6 Tour on xfce.org, I gather this feature has now been implemented:

...With Xfce 4.6, the Xfdesktop manager finally implements
this feature: you can select multiple icons, remove them,
  etcetera...

However on a fresh install of 4.6.2 this feature either isn't present, or just plain doesn't work. So any help on getting this working or tips on where in the source I should begin hacking, would be appreciated.

Thanks!
