To be exact: the hal powersave state changes only once in two. To verify that bug, look at the result of the command "hal-get-property --udi /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer --key power_management.is_powersave_set" every time you plug or unplug the AC power. You need to do the plug/unplug twice for the status change from "false" to "true" and vice versa.

For some reason i'm not able to reproduce the problem here, please try out the latest svn revision and let me know your findings.

I didn't realize that when I found this problem I booted from a live CD (unionfs). When I boot from a hard drive in ext3, this bug do not happen at all. Well... interesting, isn't it? I think HAL doesn't like live CDs. So never mind. That bug seems not current and not so important. Sorry for the wrong report.

Closing old bugs to keep things organized.
