Good morning

I use Xfce-power-manager on my laptop with two batteries, and the icons are not showed correctly when the computer switches from one battery to the other.
To be clear, at first my computer use the "travel" battery and when it is empty it switches to the "primary" battery (the names come from the informations of xfce-power-manager).

There are two icons in the system tray since I use two batteries. The problem is that xfce-power-manager shows the wrong icon when a battery is not used. For exemple:

1) My batteries are fully charged, I unplug the adapter, the laptop uses the "travel" battery, the "travel" icon is OK but the "primary" icon shows a full battery with an adapter, it should be just a full battery.

2) The "travel" battery is almost empty, the travel icon is OK (the icon with the orange color), the primary icon is still wrong.

3) Travel is empty, the computer switches to the Primary battery. The icon of primary becomes good, but the icon of the travel battery shows a full battery with adapter instead of an empty battery with no adapter.

The same thing happens when I plug the AC adapter, the icons are good only when the battery is being charged (the computer charges Primary then Travel).

Xfce-power-manager should remember the status of the batteries and show icons with adapter only when it is plugged.

I add a zip file with images showing the evolution of the icons and the problem.

I use Xubuntu 8.10 with Xfce 4.6. I've tried xfe-power-management 0.8 alpha2 and beta1, no change. I think it did the same with xfce-power-manager 0.62.

Thank you for your quick answer.

I've tried the revision 7193, it is better. The battery level is good, the only problem remaining is that the icon shows an AC adapter when a battery is not used.

Like before: I start with my two batteries full and then I unplug the AC adapter.

1) When Travel is discharging, the icon of Primary shows a full battery (that's ok) with an adapter (that's not ok), Primary icon should be just a full battery.

2) When Travel is empty, the computer switches to Primary, Primary icon become good (just a full battery), and Travel icon shows an empty battery (that better than the beta1) but there is the AC adapter, which is wrong.

Both icons should have the AC adapter only when the adapter is plugged to the laptop.

I added more pictures. The icons on the right is for Travel, on the left it is for Primary.

Please try out the beta2, unfortunately not all the changes were correctly committed, i have changed the tarball, download it from and please let me know if you still have troubles.

Thanks for you, without your help i wouldn't be able to fix this bug, since my laptop has only one battery.

I will close this by now.
