First let me say thank you for the work done on the new version, people don't
make bug reports to thank developers for features they really like, so you will
see some bug reports about some negative experiences but keep in mind that I
will always have positive experiences to. Beside this its always difficult to
make good bug reports, what information does the developer needs and how can
the reporter help the developer, please guide me in how you as developer like
the bug reporter to help. You can always contact me for more information or something in return for you hard work.

I upgraded my xfce4-panel on my Debian unstable testing system and I notched
that the spacings around the clock plugin are not symmetrical. In specific the space to the right size of the clock is to small compared with spacing used on top. I now the space on the bottom of the panel items is also smaller then the space used on the top, but this is consistent with other icons of for example launchers. (please see the attachment)

It would be very nice this visual issue can get address, I know this can sound as nitpicking but the presentation of the desktop I build is very important for my users and customers. I am willing to help out of you guide me.

$ dpkg -l | grep panel
ii  xfce4-clipman-plugin                 2:0.9.1-1
ii  xfce4-panel                          4.6.0-2

Thanks in advance,
