The Xfce:Settings:Removable Drives and Media panel has a tab for still cameras.
Would be nice for Thunar to also mount USB and IEEE 1394 video cameras; 
also described as "Web cameras".

To use Coriander, for example, I must manually set permissions on /dev/raw1394 
and on /dev/video1394.  A more convenient and user friendly method should 
exist.

In Debian Squeeze the Thunar version is 0.9.0 but that number wasn't an 
interactive choice.

From further reading, I should have referred to thunar-volman.
