Description Adam Purkrt 2009-03-01 21:04:23 CET
"Icon box" always displays icons horizontally, even when the panel is
vertical. This makes "Icon box" unusable on a vertical panel.

Steps to reproduce:
* have "Icon box" on a panel
* make the panel vertical
* have more than one application open
* only one icon will be visible & accessible on the panel (or two at most - aligned in a row - if one makes the vertical panel really wide)

Expected behaviour:
on a vertical panel, the icons should be aligned in a column
(as opposed to a row on a horizontal panel)

(I report from ubuntu jaunty, using 4.6.0; I have tested xfce also in Debian Lenny, which uses 4.4.2.1 and there the icon box was displayed correctly - vertically on a vertical panel)

I've the same problem. Gtk 2.16 seems to be the cause. Downgrading tot 2.14.7 solved the problem for me.

Move bug to Window Buttons; the merge of tasklist and iconbox.
