After starting Mousepad (0.2.14), entering text, then attempting to close the window, mousepad asks:

  "Save changes to 'untitled'?

  [Cancel] [No] [Yes]

Clicking (or otherwise choosing) "No" results in Mousepad not quitting, but instead going back to the document. i.e. acting like the user had clicked on Cancel.

Expected behaviour is for Mousepad to instead quit without saving.

Note - This does not happen if at least one save of the contents has been done first. Only seems to occur for new Mousepad sessions that haven't done any saves yet.

Workaround for the moment is that I have to manually kill the mousepad process whenever wanting to quit it without saving.

Hmm, yeah this just happened to me, too. But it doesn't happen under all conditions.

If I open mousepad and start a new document, then choose File > Quit, and click "No", it works as expected.

Hmm, went to open the file I had open before, expecting to be able to recur the problem, and now it works, too.

I've never used mousepad before this and this was the first file I ever opened with it. I wonder if this error had to do with some local configuration initialization.

I have been having similar trouble, consistently and reproducably. I suspect that this bug is the same as #5566 and 6228.

If you are REAL patient, and wait up to 10 seconds (it seems like a lifetime, I know), Mousepad WILL eventually close.

That doesn't make it any less of a bug . . .
