Hi,

is it possible to add an (optional) disabling of shadows on panels as in xcompmgr?
I have my panel hidden at the top of the screen and it looks a bit weird with this small border auf shadow at the top of the screen :-/

What version are you using? It's in 4.6 already.

Actually I'm using a svn build of xfwm4 from 31. january.
But I couldn't find such a setting (I checked xfconf-query -c xfwm4 -l). Where is it?

Are you sure you searched really hard?

$ xfconf-query -c xfwm4 -vl | grep shadow

/general/show_dock_shadow                false
/general/show_frame_shadow               true
/general/show_popup_shadow               true

BTW, we implement a gui for a reason. xfwm4-tweaks-settings => "Compositor" tab => uncheck "Show shadows under dock windows"
