The xfdesktop settings dialog does not keep the list of available images, it only keeps the one selected and discards the others from the list.

To reproduce:

1) Add a custom image with "+"
2) Use that image as a backdrop
3) Add another image
4) Use that new image as a backdrop
5) The first image does not appear in the list anymore.

Or

1) Add a custom image with "+"
2) Do not select that image as a backdrop
3) close/reopen dialog
4) The image is not in the list

That somehow makes the the concept of a list of backdrops fairly useless.

Yeah, known problem. I just never got around to implementing it.

In the meantime, storing the last visited directory or implementing a manually set default directory would satisfy my current needs.

[PATCH] Keep a list of all images loaded

Any images the user loads to the xfdesktop-settings app will be
saved to a backdrop list which by default will be called images.list
this list will be loaded instead of the default resource location
while in Single image mode.
