Sometimes it is important to see the creation or modification dates of the files being added to the project, e.g. when manually backing up recently modified documents. Please add (optional) date display to xfburn file lists.
Sure, I'll put this on the TODO list.
For the time being you can just use Thunar to select the files to add to the composition - that's what I personally do most of the time. That way you can use the full power of a file manager to do your selection, and just use drag and drop into xfburn.

Why do you call "sort by size" a duplicate of "display date"?
For me it's essentially the same thing: Being able to display and sort by additional columns. But ok, maybe it wasn't all clear. I've updated the bug's title to reflect the broader issue.
