User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121622 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.5 Build Identifier: http://svn.xfce.org/svn/goodies/xfce4-xfapplet-plugin/trunk When no Gnome applet is loaded, leave right-click menu as is. But after a Gnome applet is loaded, simplify the right-click menu like so .. Remove 'Properties' and greyed out 'XfApplet' menu item Change 2nd 'About' to 'About XfApplet' so there are not 2 'About's. This reduces confusion for basic users, but still allows advanced users to easily identify XfApplets. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 2136 Patch Patch testing done - 1. Created new empty xfapplet 2. Added gnome applet to empty xfapplet 3. Created new xfapplet with gnome applet loaded 4. Started xfce4-panel that already had a configured xfapplet 5. Killed gnome applet (that was within xfapplet) a) chose don't reload b) choose reload Right-click menu appeared as expected in all tests.
