Looks like a translation bug. Did you try to contact the xfce-i18n ML or the responsible translator?

Hmm...Who is the translator...it's me! :D

Dumb joking aside, this is not a translation bug.
Because the media-tags-plugin-0.1.2 displays the combobox correctly (attached screenshot of 0.1.2) and the media-tags-plugin-trunk with 0.1.2's pofile still has this issue.

I experience the same bug here with da_DK locale. I have tried with en_GB, fr_FR, sv_SE, and de_DE, and experience it as well with all of those.

In fact, of those locales I have tried to run thunar -B under, only the default C locale does not cause this bug.

And this is with the latest 7cdd051 revision.

dont-use-empty-string-as-separator.patch

This bug is in the 0.2.0 release still.
It is because of an empty string as separator. See http://www.gnu.org/s/hello/manual/gettext/MO-Files.html, the empty string translated into system information.
Simple patch as attached, just replacing the empty string with a space.

This still happens in Xubuntu 14.04, and ca Locale. It happens in every locale I've tried but not in English.
