Please add an option to hide the Xfce Goodies Free Space Checker when the file-system it points to is not mounted.  This would be a cool addition for those of us who want to know (on insert/mount) the status of USB devices, or even external hard drives.

Not sure what the freespace checker is... I assume it's fsguard.

Well, no, the plugin fits well to monitor an existing mount point. Recent file managers or volume handlers can do stuff like automount, display recent mounted devices, and give their available space. Plus note that the device needs to be mounted to fetch the total/free space of the mountpoint.

I think the mount plugin (xfce4-mount-plugin) covers this case actually, cause it shows available devices with total/free space and mount/unmounts them on click.
