If I'm in my home directory and I type "P", a number of directories and files are highlighted, rather than it starting to show me directories and files starting with a capital P. Doesn't seem to happen for any other letter.
Similar (but opposite) behavior also happens with 'N' (shift+n). This only occurs in the Icons and Compact List view, not in the detailed view. 'N' and 'P' are keyboard shortcuts for growing and shrinking the current selection above and below. I don't think they can be bound to those actions and also used for typeahead find.
