Moving a window from one workspace to another by 'Click to start dragging ...' no longer works when the panel is set to 'hide'. I am not sure this bug started with r28684 while I don't often use that feature. This is a regression, it used to work in previous versions.

This bug only occurs when using libgtk2.0-0 v.2.14.4-3 and libgail18 v.2.14.4-3 from Debian/experimental. When I revert to Debian/sid libgtk2.0-0 v. 2.12.11-4 and libgail18 v.1.22.3-1 there is no problem.

I now guess it's not a regression, it showed up after ugrading libgtk2.0-0 from v.2.12 to v.2.14

(In reply to comment #0) > Moving a window from one workspace to another by 'Click to start dragging ...' > no longer works when the panel is set to 'hide'. It still doesn't work after upgrading libgtk2.0-0 v.2.14.4-1 to 2.14.5-1 in Debian/experimental.
After trying to drag a window to another workspace, click to switch to another workspace too no longer works until restarting the panel.
Got exactly the same problems as reporter and use the same version. I didn't upgrade libgtk/gail, only xfce from 4.4 to 4.6 beta3. xfce4 worked with the current libraries fine.
(In reply to comment #0) > (In reply to comment #0) The problem is still present in version 4.5.93 (beta3) using libgtk2.0-0 and libgail18 v.2.14.7-1 from Debian/experimental.
v.4.5.99.1 (rc1) still shows this DND bug.
Should be fixed in trunk. The panel won't autohide during the drag, that's what break the dnd here. Please reopen if it doesn't work. --- Sending NEWS Sending panel/panel-properties.c Transmitting file data .. Committed revision 29412.
