I'm assuming from the pathces the descriptions should have said nb_NO to nb.

Since 'nb' is preferred over 'nb_NO' I don't mind this change, but shouldn't the patch rename the po files to keep things working correctly?

Yes, it should be "nb".

And yes, there should be done too:
mv -f po/{nb_NO,nb}.po
mv -f po/{pt_PT,pt}.po

As per request from Tanvir Hussain, also rename bangla code language from bn_IN to bn.

I'll be taking care of this quickly after the release of 4.6.0.
