Rox windows on screen :1 jump to xinerama screen :0, on a automagic resize event. A work around is to set Options>Filer Windows>Auto-Resize Filer windows to "Never Automatically resize". This doesn't seem to occur with the official debian rox-filer (which is a different version) .deb. Either way, I was told by some guy named benny to file a report as it could be a problem in xfce and not rox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a rox-filer (/usr/bin/rox) and make sure the window is on screen :1. 2. Do an operation that causes rox to automagically resize the the filer window (zoom in, change directory, etc). The filer window jumps to screen :0 Actual Results: The bug occured. Expected Results: The window should have resized & stayed on screen :1. I happen to be using xinerama on debian woody and installed this stuff from an unofficial source (http://www.os-cillation.de/debian). My rox is versioned at 2.1.2-4 from the above source Also i'm debian woody running xfce4 beta 2 (4.1.90+cvs.20041003-1) This pretty much keeps me from wanting to use rox on my dual head setup.
Also if you use the window manager decorations to resize the window, it Does Not jump to the incorrect screen.
Well the same person who told me to report this here said it's a bug in rox. 'nuff said.
Yes, its a bug in ROX. Its fixed in the newer versions (os-cillation repository has the new version).
Moving invalid bugs to the /dev/null product.
