Hi, I just switched to xkb plugin 0.5.1, and the settings window is weird, attached image, i have ch and ar layout in my xorg.conf file. Please let me know if you need more information.

That looks nasty. What is your locale setting? To what language does the 'ar' layout correspond? Is it arabic?

Yes it's arabic, i removed the ara in xorg.conf keeping only ch layout and then i have no problem if i add the arabic layout in xkb settings. my locale is en_US.ISO8859-2 / is the one i found to display french and arabic characters correctly.
Can you post the whole xorg.conf keyboard configuration section here, please? (sorry I didn't ask for it right away)
