I tried to print a document from Mousepad. The printer dialog came up and I was only allowed to print to a file. I have one printer available via the CUPS subsystem that it should have found. I'm not sure if printer info is stored in XSETTINGS, but these errors I got on the console might be relevant. Note that I'm running it inside GNOME. $ mousepad CHANGES-4.0.1 xfce-mcs-manager-Message: Standard XSETTINGS manager already detected for screen 0 (xfce-mcs-manager:9241): libxfce4mcs-CRITICAL **: Unable to add channel "settings" to MCS manager ** Message: Querying XINPUT extension ** Message: XINPUT extension found ** Message: Querying Xkb extension ** Message: Xkb extension found (xfce-mcs-manager:9241): libxfce4mcs-CRITICAL **: Unable to add channel "settings" to MCS manager ** Message: This build doesn't include support for XF86Misc extension ** Message: Querying Xkb extension ** Message: Xkb extension found (xfce-mcs-manager:9241): libxfce4mcs-CRITICAL **: Unable to add channel "settings" to MCS manager ** (xfprint4:9238): WARNING **: xfprint: No printing system loaded
