Not sure if it has been asked before or spoken about, but is it possible to get teh Composite features enhanced? As in making shadows darker and further away , and maybe even a blur effect for translucent windows?

The size and position of the shadow is already adjustable using themerc (ie it's up to the theme designer to set the size of the shadow).

I've just committed a path to make the shadow opacity also configurable.

Regarding blur, I don't see a way to render blur fast enough using XRender, if you see any, patch welcome.

Is there a way to change shadow color. I prefer bright on dark color scheme and dark shadows not very handy in such configuration. I would like to set shadow color to act like glow.
