Created attachment 1820 remove update_radio function When radio was turned off, update_radio function produced unpleasant audible clicks (radio turned on, then turned off), so I comment it. I understand that removing update_radio function wrong, but I have not other way to remove unpleasant clicks. I have a saa7134 tuner chipset.
This one looks interesting. update_radio is supposed to update the plugin's frequency display if some external application manipulates the tuner. It's not supposed to turn the radio on or off. I'll definitely investigate this, thanks for reporting.
As of SVN rev. 6231 there is a new option to disable stat synchronizing between the plugin and the tuner card. Please check whether this fixes your issue.
