it seems to me that libxfce4menu is missing MergeFile, which is required for user-specific menus. I wanted to start on a menu-editor, but I came across this problem when I tried to create my own menu-override. Is this correct, or is there another way to merge with the system-menu?
This isn't really a bug, it's just not implemented yet. I'm fine with leaving it open as a reminder for me.
