Currently the settings in the Settings Manager are shown in one row each, an icon and a name. That means I need to scroll the list and there is much empty space.

I'd like to see the icons side by side, similar to the old 4.4 Settings Manager. I'm not sure if someone might dislike that, so maybe there could be a small toggle button for changing the view mode.

Not sure what you mean -- they show side to side for me.  The default size of the window could use some work, tho.

I actually looked closer and resized the dialog very much.

Turns out even when the window is twice as big as one icon plus text it shows the descrived behaviour but when it is wider than that it works.
