the thunar-svn-plugin does not seem to work with working copies that where checked out using svn+ssh.
(In reply to comment #0) > the thunar-svn-plugin does not seem to work with working copies that where > checked out using svn+ssh. > indeed this isn't working, but there is a problem with this. since svn usage your ssh client to make the ssh connections (which i guess would be openssh or some other commandline client) the ssh password is asked on the commandline, which isn't available when using the plugin) i'll have to look into this to see in what ways in can solve this. and there was a problem in the plugin it's self, i didn't accept svn+ss://, the current trunk does.
Even though this an old bug report, I want to add some additional information. My system is an Ubuntu 12.04 with XFCE 4.10 with thunar-vcs-plugin 0.1.4-1. When starting Thunar using the 'Application Finder' I get the error "Failed: No repository found in 'svn+ssh://myserver/.../trunk' if I try to update the Subversion working copy. The local working copy is set up properly since everythings works smoothly in a Terminal with a BASH-Shell. Luckily I figured out the problem: It seems that a Thunar-process started using the described way is unable to access my private SVN-Key from the keyring daemon ('gnome-keyring-daemon --daemonize --login') process. Workaround: Start a terminal. Start Thunar from the Terminal. Now it seems Thunar is able to access the keys of the keyring-daemon and as a result the plugin Thunar-vcs-plugin works as expected. How can this be fixed, such that Thunar is always able to use the keys of the keyring-daemon? (Or do I have something set up wrongly?) Thank you! Peter
