User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080325 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.13 Build Identifier: When I drag & drop a large file from the desktop to a folder window, Thunar shows a progress dialog box, as expected. In the other direction, dragging from a folder window to the desktop, Thunar fails to show the same progress dialog. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose "Allow Xfce to manage the desktop" and "File/launcher icons" in the Xfce Desktop Preferences. 2. Drag a large file from the desktop to a folder window (preferably on a slow device like a network or flash drive). Observe the progress dialog box. 3. Drag the same file from the same folder window back to the desktop. Note the absence of the expected progress dialog. Actual Results: Thunar does not give any indication that it is copy the file. A file icon appears on the desktop, but short of continually polling that file for its size, there is no way to see how the copy operation is progressing, and no assurance that the copy completes at all. Expected Results: I expected to see the same progress dialog box that Thunar showed while copying in the other direction.
Same here on OpenBSD-current/i386
