On Gentoo with version 0.10.99.3, my acpi sensor has stopped working. It displays the temperature when i boot up but does not change any time afterwards.
Hi, I've got the same problem on Gentoo. Currently I'm using Gnome's sensons-applet in Xfce.
Hi, gentoo maintainers already patched the problem: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=217743 Possibly it help fixing the problem upstream.
Thanks for the report, ran into the problem on my own as well now and fixed it the same way as the patch proposed. Please close this bug.
I don't know if you read the last post on gentoo's bugzilla: "The patch is now removed from -r2, because it breaks xfce4-sensors. It won't start anymore." So I don't think this bug is closed. It would be nice if you could help. It's really sad I have to start gnome's sensor-applet via xfapplet.
Can't confirm that. Works excellently on my laptop with ACPI. Everything is refreshed, no crashes. Perhaps I did some more changes on the called method, dunno. So please try out if it (read svn version) really crashes.
Bug has been closed on Gentoo as well, *RESOLVED FIXED*. Please close inside here as well. Thanks.
