If you run Xfce and have other DE, like KDE, you can see that there are two trash cans on desktop. One of them is KDE's one. Ith would be nice to hide it, anyways if you open this the KDE stuff starts up. Same goes to "Devices" entry etc. There are two options to fix this: 1. obey the ShowOnlyIn, as KDE's trashcan is a simple *.desktop file, which contains above string set to KDE. 2. search for KDE desktop entries in .kde/share/config/kdeglobals and "blacklist" them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have Xfce and KDE on same box 2. Run Xfce 3. See the KDE's trash can and Devices entries on desktop Expected Results: Hide them!
If I understand the description right, since bug 4022 was fixed, the KDE wastebin should be invisible now. Would somebody confirm that?
