I was thinking it would be nice if, when trying to do something in the file manager that required the root account, a little dialog asking for the root password could popup. And if the user had root access (which most do), they could continue enter the password and complete their task. This is similar to how Mac OS X does things I think.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Is a feature request
Actual Results:
Feature Request

Expected Results:
1. Attempt to Read/Write a directory/file as regular user, permission is denied.
2. Dialog window pops up asking for root password
3. User is able to finish their task.

I understand that you can enter Thunar from the super-user account, which would make this feature moot. But I don't always want to go into thunar as root, I'd like to continue as my normal user except for the times when I need to be root.
