The menu of Xfce is way too slow. If I haven't used it in a while, it takes *six* seconds to appear. That's no way to make a menu. Some optimization might be useful here; consider this a wishlist item :)
Unfortunately this isn't all that useful... I don't have this problem. If you can use a tool like sysprof to profile the menu and find out where it's spending most of its time, that would be helpful.
