This bug is noticeable in case of non-standard icon names for apps, like foo.bar.png where *.desktop entry holds "Icon=foo.bar" or "Icon=foo-bar" or "Icon=foo_bar"(where "bar" is not the extension).

For example: OpenOffice.org uses versioned icon names like: ooo-writer2.4.png, which causes that OOo icons are missing.

I know that easiest way would be to fix all that apps with special icon names, but that is not the point. On other DE's this is not the problem.

This bug should have been assigned against libxfcegui4 but i couldn't find it.
I think the culprit is the function in libxfcegui4 which strips icons extensions.
