We should merge the tasklist and the iconbox. Their (internal) functionality is the same and although the libwnck taskbar works good, it's a beast when it comes to CPU usage (compared with the netk-taskbar).
Created attachment 2237 patch to enable minimize animations Hi! Compiz' minimize effect didn't work with iconbox. This patch fixes that. I've already merged the iconbox and tasklist in the experimental panel branch (git.xfce.org). It's not future complete, but it will be feature complete soonish. I'll use the patch to implement it in the new tasklist, won't be committed in trunk since that is bug-fix only mode.
Devel branch has been merged in master. A 4.7.0 release will follow soon. If you think this bug is not fixed? Feel free to reopen the bug.
