User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071203 IceWeasel/2.0.0.11 (Zenwalk GNU Linux)
Build Identifier:

The notification settings applet has no choice by default. It should be bottom right I think.

I HAD to chose a component to file the bug, but notification-daemon-xfce isn't in the list.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do a fresh install and open the notification settings
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Neither of the choices for notification position is selected

Expected Results:
Bottom right should be selected

setting it to xfce4-notifyd (brian can assess if this bug is valid there)

IIRC, notification-daemon-xfce is deprecated in favour of xfce4-notifyd

Are you using notification-daemon-xfce, or xfce4-notifyd?

Can't dupe, it's probably notification-daemon-xfce, which is unsupported.
