Can Thunar not first check the clipboard and thus be aware of any files I have just copied. For example, Firefox downloads files to my desktop. I have no Thunar open yet. When I want to clean-up my desktop, I copy all the files I want to save. But when I open Thunar I have to do that again, because Thunar doesnt' know I have just copied them. I use: Xfce 4 Desktop Environment version 4.4.1 (Xfce 4.4) Xununtu Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy some files from your desktop. (Thunar is not open yet) 2. Open Thunar and find that Thunar has no clu as to what you just copied. 3. Have to copy the same files again. Now Thunar knows what I want to copy. On start-up Thunar should have checked my clipboard, so that any paste action will succeed immediately.
Agreed. I have a habit of copying files on the desktop, opening a folder, and pasting them there, but that doesn't work. So my next instinct is to right-drag the files into the window, expecting the "copy here/move here" menu to pop up, but that doesn't work either as the files' context menu pops up on press, not on release.
Ditto
Same problem here.
As of 1.2.1 the feature is still not implemented.
