1. Put 886 pictures in one directory. 2. Open one of them. 3. Ristretto doesn't show up, continues running and CPU usage is idle. 4. Delete one picture. 5. With 885 pictures ristretto behaves correctly.

With 885 pictures ristretto behaves correctly. > this seems to be caused by to many requests to the file monitor. requesting a monitor for the parent directory instead of all the individual pictures would probebly fix this problem
