How do you reboot? Because if you reboot “properly” the panel will send save signals, and the font will be saved. Do you have a Font entry in your configuration file? Look inside $HOME/.config/xfce4/panel/xfce4-notes-plugin-<randmon-number>.rc The font is low priority, so it gets saved only on the next save signal from the panel. Aye, it works fine with Quit from the Xfce menu. I just changed the font and rebooted immediately and it saves the font. The problem was I habitually turn off my computer using `shutdown -hP now` ^^; ...and from this experience I imagine using that way a bad idea Thanks for your help, Mike!
