Hello,
I'm using the "stable" Debian GNU/Linux version of XFCE4 and I have a problem of freezing.
XFCE4 freezes sometime when I'm desktop switching. I did some tests, I think the problems occurs when I try to switch the desktop and in the same time I quit an application.
Here is an example : XFCE4 freezes when I press (and keep pushed) "ctrl", then I quit an application, and then I push "alt + arrow" to switch my desktop (using the shortcut "ctrl + alt + arrow").

Looks like this bug : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=449050 , but that's weird since Etch has Gtk+ 2.8. Did you upgrade Gtk+ ? If so, xfwm4-4.4.1-3 (in testing) solves a problem with Gtk+ 2.12

I think it was the problem, I upgraded to etch and there is no more bugs.

Apparently this is fixed by a Gtk update. Thanks for the report.
