Description Harold Aling 2007-11-09 10:00:37 CET
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071022 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.8
Build Identifier:

When I 'show desktop' (ctr-alt-d) on Workspace 1, all windows on all workspaces are minimized.

I'd like it very much if Xwfm would only toggle minimize on the current workspace...

-H-

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open windows on different workspaces
2.press ctr-alt-d (show desktop)
3.windows on other workspaces are minimized too

Why? I find this less convenient and consistent.
Comment 2 Olivier Fourdan editbugs 2007-11-10 23:01:31 CET
On the other hand, that would be more consistent with other implementations.
Comment 3 Harold Aling 2007-11-11 15:14:36 CET
I have multiple workspaces so that I can work on different things with an easy switch. If I minimize all apps on my 'devel' workspace, my mail and office programs on an other workspace shouldn't be affected IMHO...

It just seems unnatural to perform actions on windows I don't even see...

I fully agree with that and hope that this bug is not just tagged as an "enhancement" bug. Is there any chances that this bug gets higher rated?
