Hi,

I'm running last xfdesktop with libxfce4menu, and when I start xfdesktop it works only for a little while untill it stops working.

The desktop is no more reacting, no clicks, no scroll. If I open the mcs plugin, the modification on the desktop are applied. All I can do is a kill -9.

Created attachment 1415
A log of the console output

The output contains the debug output of xfdesktop (--enable-debug=full) with all the created/destroyed monitors and so on.

                                          ^^^ should be read “aren't”

Does this still happen? xfdesktop now only monitors a few directories instead of all of the files so the number of monitors created by thunar-vfs should be about five or six now.

I switched monitoring support on again, but nowadays I don't have that much .desktop files installed (30~40 maxi). I will bug if anything goes wrong.
