User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20071017 Firefox/2.0.0.7
Build Identifier:

When no output is produced by the script, the panel disappears into the panel and cannot be edited or removed. The properties cannot be corrected to show an output.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add new item 'genmon' to xfce4 panel
2. Uncheck the 'label' option and add your command (such as `grep \"cpu MHz\" /proc/cpuinfo`)

Actual Results:
The panel plugin disappears into the xfce4-panel gui

Expected Results:
Show 'NO OUTPUT'

I have verified that the genmon plugin in present in my panel by checking ~/.config/xfce4/panel/panels.xml

Hi,

It's a real bug. But in fact the plugin doesn't "totally" disappear, it's empty.
You can try to find it with a Right Click Button.

I'll fix it in a "I hope so" soon 3.2 version.

Bye.

This bug has been resolved in the 3.2 version. If the spawn of the command fails, the plugin display XXX.
