Description V p 2007-10-05 22:24:37 CEST
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070208 Mandriva/2.0.0.6-12mdv2008.0 (2008.0) Firefox/2.0.0.6
Build Identifier:

This is probably due to backend not using the correct output driver (it's set to "auto" by default). However, I tried even with xshm and opengl and neither of them work :-/ So I wish XFmedia was able to display movies even if composer is turned on.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. xfce-setting-show
2. Windows tuning
3. Compositing
4. Enable "Activate display compositing..."
5. Open a film with XFmedia
Actual Results:
XFmedia open and close immediatly without displaying the movie

Expected Results:
Play the movie normally

I resolve this problem and other video relayted from bugs.xfce.org by changing -O2 optimization level to -O0 in CFLAGS.
